North Andover Booster Club Boys Basketball

Welcome to the North Andover Booster Club Boys Basketball program.  The North Andover Booster Club offers basketball programs for boys in grades K-8.

If you have questions, please email Commissioners Ali Mandalinci or Kurt VonSneidern at

Bookmark this page and visit the website for information and schedules throughout the season!

Goal:  To create a fun and safe environment to introduce the fundamental skills of basketball to the youngest players.

Format:  Clinics on Saturday mornings for approximately 60 minutes from early December to late February.

The cost of the program is $50. Registration will open from Augusts 1st through November 1st.  Late registrations will close by November 15th and will be available only if space permits.

Goal: To create a fun, safe, and exciting activity.  To expand fundamental basketball skills to developing players.  To introduce the basic concepts of team play.  To encourage good sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Format:  Players will be assigned to teams.  Teams will have one practice during the week, and one game per week on Saturday mornings at the North Andover Youth Center.  Teams will play in a league format with an eight game schedule followed by playoffs.

The cost of the program is $100.   Registration is open from August 31st through October 15th. Note: Late registrations will close by November 1st and will be available only if space permits.

Goal:  To create a safe, exciting activity at different competitive levels for older players to continue development of individual basketball skills.  To focus on team concepts.  To support good sportsmanship on and off the court.

IN-TOWN LEAGUE -  Approximately 12 -14  teams compete in Gr. 5-6 and Gr. 7-8 divisions.  Teams will have at least one practice and one game per week.  Practices and games run from early December thru late February/early March.

The registration fee is $120 and is open from August 1st through October 15th.  An additional fee of $20 will be charged for registrations after this date.  Note: Late registrations will close by November 1st and will be available only if space permits.

TRAVEL LEAGUE -  The travel program is designed for players with more advanced skills, and requires a greater time commitment than the in-town program.  Players MUST be North Andover residents (league rule) and are chosen through a try-out process.  Travel team players are expected to make all practices and games over other sports/hobbies.

Travel Tryout times and dates will be posted on this site.

Every effort will be made to have two teams per grade.  Teams will compete in the Merrimack Valley Youth Basketball league.  Teams have two practices and up to two games per week.  Travel teams may also participate in three competitive tournaments during the season.

Information including game schedules and directions to gym locations can be found on the leagues' website Merrimack Valley Youth Basketball.

Besides the registration fee of $120, an additional fee of $85 is collected by the coaches AFTER a player has made a travel team and a uniform purchase will be required.  Specific uniform cost will be provided before tryouts.

Travel Team tryouts will be posted to this website once scheduled.
